GP Practice Online Access

GP online access is the use of online forms as another route for patients to contact their GP practice.

GP online access is the use of online forms as another route for patients to contact their GP practice.

Members of the public can contact their GP practice for non-urgent requests during the day, anytime between 8am to 6.30pm, by filling out an online form on their GP practice website. www.redhousesurgery.co.uk

All GP practices are required to have their online consultation system available throughout core hours for non-urgent appointment requests, medication queries, and admin requests.

As well as the on-line forms patients can continue to telephone or visit the practice in person and speak with our care navigators through-out core hours.

We work hard to try and accommodate patients with appointments with a range of health care professionals within our team, or with signposting to other health workers or organisations such as community pharmacies, physiotherapy and the voluntary sector.

Home visits

If you need to see the doctor but are unable to get to the surgery, you will be able to talk to one of the doctors to discuss the problem and if appropriate arrange a home visit. This visit may be undertaken by a member of our paramedic team.

Please call the practice for a home visit.

You may have to leave a phone number and the doctor will phone you after surgery. It would help if you could phone before 10am.

Later calls which are not urgent may have to be held over until the next day.
