You can access general practice appointments on weekday evenings and weekends, at several locations in Milton Keynes. Speak to our care navigators about getting the right appointment for you.

Saturday pre-booked appointments

From April 2025, Red House Surgery and Whaddon Healthcare, which are CROWN Primary Care Network, will be opening on Saturdays working from alternate sites.

Red House Surgery will be open for pre-booked appointments only. The telephone lines will still direct callers to NHS 111 or for urgent medical care you should dial 999.  

We will be offering the following appointments:

• GP – face to face appointments from 9 am to 5 pm. These appointments will be pre-booked only with no on the day booking.
• Nurse – face to face appointments from 9 am to 5pm.  These appointments will be pre-booked only.  The nurse appointments will be for general nursing treatments.  Unfortunately, the nurse will not be able to do blood tests as there is no weekend collection of samples.
• Pharmacist – clinic once a month which will be face to face for medication reviews/queries.

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
