About Us
The history of The Red House Surgery
The Red House Surgery was established in 1815 by Dr Camp, catering to the then sparsely populated countryside. Over the years the surgery expanded to meet the needs of the growing population, even establishing the Bungalow Maternity Home in the paddock next to the old Red House Surgery; here the midwives and doctors helped to deliver nearly 1,000 babies before it closed in the 1950’s.
