A Youth Centre and much, much More! A central hub for the whole community, here for you.
For young people:
Youth Network, our youth project, offers a variety of activities for young people after school in term-time and during the day in school holidays. Currently we run clubs and projects across Bletchley in Derwent Drive, Lakes Estate Community Centre, Sir Herbert Leon Academy, Newton Leys Pavilion, and across the city in Stony Stratford and Newport Pagnell.
Our clubs encompass arts and creative activities, sports and fitness including basketball, football, badminton and table tennis, cooking & eating together. We run day trips and sometimes residentials, and most importantly, free meal clubs and food at every club and project.
For everyone:
As well as running youth clubs two evenings per week, the Centre is used by groups who offer low-cost services to young and older members of our community to help them to keep fit, socialise and learn new skills. This includes Zumba, Tai Chi, Yoga, Karate, Boxing, Young Carers, Arts for Health, Next Steps Education, Refugee groups, and local prayer groups of all denominations. In the colder months we offer a warm hub café for all adults.
The Centre is also available for private hires for children’s parties and larger events. Recent renovations have reinstated an old full size basketball pitch which is accessible to the whole community through an external gate.
